The licensure process can also be a laborious process.  Credentialing, house hunting, enrolling your children in schools, etc. does take time as well.  So, it is rarely too early to start looking for an opportunity.  You should try to start your interview process at least 4 to 6 months before you relocate.

A: Initially we need to know your specialty, where you would like to live, when you can interview, and when you wish to relocate and start your new job.  We want to know the status of your family and their relocation needs.  In fact, overall family issues are typically the key factor throughout this process.  We would also like to know in which states you are currently licensed.  If we are recruiting you to a state that you are not licensed, we must address the issue immediately and start the process.
